Snowy mountain view from Les Diablerets

Villars–Gryon–Les Diablerets

One mountain area, with more than one kind of day.

Skiing · sledging · hiking · lakes · two separate homes

Stay in Les Diablerets, then choose the part of the area that suits the weather and your group. Ski Meilleret or Glacier 3000, take a train up towards Bretaye in summer, or spend an easy afternoon around a lake.

Plan a ski stay

Winter: ski, then sledge

The local slopes and ski schools suit a family day. The famous Les Diablerets sled run is about 7.5 km, with day and night sessions when the run is open. Check the TVGD opening page and hire information before setting off.

Summer: lakes and ridgelines

Try Lac Retaud, Lac des Chavonnes or the trails around Bretaye. The region has easy lake walks as well as longer routes around the Diablerets massif, plus biking and via ferrata for more adventurous days.

For the brave

Paragliding, canyoning, climbing and via ferrata are all part of the wider area. Book with a qualified local operator and check conditions. This is a real activity option, not a promise that every operator runs every day.

The useful truth

Connections are part of the plan.

  • Our homes are in Les Diablerets, not Villars. The ski links and return times change with snow, lifts and the season.
  • Check the TVGD live information and FAQ before a cross-area ski day.
  • Book both homes together for up to 13 guests. Separately, the apartment sleeps 5 and the four-bedroom chalet sleeps 8.
